“The biggest lesson I learned while traveling is how traveling is not as intimidating as it may seem. This was my first time traveling outside of the US. Not only was it my first time out of the States, it was my first time traveling without an adult and without my family. I was very nervous and anxious not knowing what to expect. My nerves were only getting worse the closer the trip got. I was walking into a country that I had never been to without knowing the language and lifestyle that they lived. Once we arrived to the airport and passed TSA, my nerves slowly started to go away. My excitement only grew as each day in Italy passed by. After this trip, I feel that I could travel whenever and to wherever I want being able to make my way through without knowing much. I also learned how lucky I am to have been able to experience what I did. Now being home for about a month, I look back at all the amazing memories I made with some amazing people. Not only did I learn about the beautiful country of Italy but I learned so much about traveling and I cannot wait to learn even more. Two Peacocks Travel curated a Cuba experience of a lifetime! Traveling with a group of women can be challenging but TPT navigated the challenge with ease and skill. Every aspect of the trip was carefully constructed with the groups’ interests and needs in mind. Off the beaten path and popular tourist attractions, TPT created a true Cuban cultural experience. They coordinated our entire trip from flights, ground transportation, lodging, and activities. Each woman could focus on the transformative travel experience, as the daily details and logistics TPT confidently handled. It felt like a real vacation!
