Sandy and Ana, two passionate globetrotters and travel besties, have embarked on a transformative journey by co-founding Two Peacocks Travel. More than just crafting unforgettable getaways, their mission is to empower hesitant women to step boldly into the world. With empathy, experience, and a heart for the planet, they thoughtfully curate trips that ease the overwhelm of planning while promoting sustainable travel practices—from supporting local economies and minimizing waste to choosing eco-conscious accommodations. Their signature touch? They always travel alongside their groups, offering real-time support, connection, and a boost of confidence for every traveler. Two Peacocks Travel isn’t just about the destination—it’s a movement. One that inspires women to break barriers, travel mindfully, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. Through encouragement, guidance, and shared experiences, Sandy and Ana are making the world not only accessible—but more sustainable and welcoming for all.

We're a dynamic duo, each other's unwavering support. A travel article about a peacock as a support animal sparked a playful nickname for us, and from laughter and shared ideas, a novel venture emerged: TRAVEL!

Yes, two Latina powerhouses with 40+ years of combined experience in coordination, operations, planning, resource advice, budgeting, and problem-solving – not to mention our impressive degrees on the wall.

Add parenthood and caregiving for our elders, along with juggling household matters down to the dishwasher glitches – this translates to adeptly handling any curveballs.

Well-traveled, we've spun unexpected travel hiccups into cherished memories over cocktails. Enter the Pandemic – teaching us: Life's short and seize the moment. Act NOW!

From Trauma to Travel we developed our secret key to travel? Adaptability.

These last few years have been very challenging for individuals, families and society as a whole. It's time to refill our cup and give ourselves some compassion, reimagining what adventure you can discover by traveling. Together, we regenerate ourselves, deepen your relationship with yourself, make connections and build relationships. These personal discoveries often lead to living a more mindful, compassionate, and joyous life.

We believe that sharing culture experiences and history encourages future generations to be exposed first-hand, teaching them to recognize what makes us all human. More importantly offering these experiences to underserved, underrepresented, and underestimated youth, gives them a helping hand to step into their own power. Research shows travel has a positive and lasting impact on young people for their future careers, political involvement and goal orientation and we want to help facilitate these opportunities for young Latinas.  Our very own Peacock was chosen as a Sophomore in high school to travel to Mont de Marsan, France on a summer exchange program.  This experience changed her life and opened her to new opportunities.  Now as a professional Latina business owner and entrepreneur, with a Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Cruz and a Master's Degree from Cal State University Los Angeles, she can attribute her success to the opportunity given to her in the Summer of 1987.

It is our passion to pay it forward. Your travel will benefit next gen Latinas participation in cultural and social immersion program with Two Peacocks Foundation. Two Peacocks Travel will donate a percentage of proceeds to Latina students (18+) to travel abroad and experience global opportunities by way of travel.  Additionally, we are looking for corporate sponsorships to provide more opportunities for the 2024 Summer Immersion Program.
