At Two Peacocks Travel, we believe that exploring the world should leave a lasting impression on your soul, not the planet. That’s why sustainability isn’t an afterthought, it’s a core part of how we plan, travel, and connect. As travel besties and conscious curators, we’re proud to share our 2025-2026 Sustainable Travel Goals as we continue empowering women to explore the world with intention.
1. Support Local Communities
Goal: Partner with 100% locally owned businesses in every destination by the end of 2026.
How: We choose local guides, stay in family-run accommodations, and dine where the locals do, investing directly in communities.
2. Reduce Single-Use Plastics
Goal: Cut down single-use plastics by 75% across all trips by mid-2026.
How: Every traveler receives a reusable travel tote, and we work with hotels and vendors who share our commitment.
3. Offset Our Footprint
Goal: Offset 100% of our carbon emissions from all flights and ground transportation by end of 2025.
How: We prioritize selecting airlines with carbon offset programs whenever possible and provide clients with guidance on what to look for when selecting flights.
4. Celebrate Culture Respectfully
Goal: Include at a minimum 50% of meaningful, community-led cultural experience in 100% of our itineraries.
How: Whether it’s cooking with local chefs or learning from artisans, we ensure culture is honored, not consumed.
5. Empower Through Education
Goal: Equip 100% of our travelers with sustainable travel tips before departure, starting Fall 2025.
How: Our digital guide helps you travel lighter, smarter, and more respectfully.
6. Minimize Waste
Goal: Offer waste-sorting or recycling options on 90% of group trips by 2026.
How: We evaluate hotels and vendors for their composting and recycling efforts and recommend ways for travelers to adopt sustainable practices when such programs aren’t available.
7. Share Our Impact
Goal: Publish an annual sustainability impact report starting 2026.
How: We’ll track progress, share stories, and celebrate milestones with our travel community.
