Traveling abroad​ may be one of the most beneficial experiences for a high school graduate. By traveling, students have the opportunity to take in the allure and culture of a new land. Live like a local.

Our travel group embarks on a journey to Andalusia, Spain, an enchanting region nestled in the southern region of the country. It's roots trace back to the ancient year of 79 A.D., and it boasts a captivating tapestry of historical significance. In the medieval era, the area flourished as a paramount hub of Islamic culture and scholarship, earning Cordoba the capital of the Islamic caliphate and a globally renowned metropolis.

Immersing oneself in the vibrant ambiance of Andalusia unveils a wealth of multicultural wonders. Whether savoring the delectable flavors of paella or strolling along the archaic Roman bridge, every moment in the cities of Cordoba, Granada, Sevilla and Malaga, becomes a captivating encounter with the remnants of bygone eras. Here’s an example of a day in Córdoba:

Morning:
Cultural tours and guided visits from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Midday:
Lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., followed by free time or siesta from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. to relax, explore, or enjoy local cafés.

Evening:
Social and cultural excursions from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., offering opportunities to experience Córdoba’s traditions, art, and lively atmosphere.

Dinner follows at 9:30 p.m., bringing everyone together to share stories from the day.

Here’s a list of experiences you’ll visit in Córdoba, Spain during the program:
  • Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba – The city’s most iconic landmark, blending Islamic and Christian architecture.
  • Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos – A stunning fortress and palace with lush gardens and panoramic views.

WHO CAN GO ON THIS TRIP?
This trip is for high school graduates between the ages of 18 and 25, interested in the Spanish language and culture.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR THIS TRIP?
The trip can be paid with credit card, check, Zelle or Venmo. Installments can be arranged ahead of time with approval. We also encourage fundraising with known programs such as GoFundMe, Fundly and RundRazr.
IS THIS TRIP ONLY FOR STUDENTS THAT DON'T SPEAK SPANISH?
This trip is for all who want to travel internationally.
Is there a maximum number of students on this trip?
There is a maximum number of 10 students on this program.
What's the weather like in July?
The weather in Spain in July is hot.  It can range from 95 - 111 degrees daily.  Our accommodations and buses, trains and vehicles have air conditioning. The days are long with the sun setting approximately 10pm.
