Day 2: Triacastela to Sarria (19 km/11 miles)Today marks the beginning of your pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago.
After breakfast, we begin our Camino in Triacastela, a village rich in pilgrim history. Before leaving town, we'll pass the site of a medieval hospital that once cared for weary travelers making their journey to Santiago. We then follow the scenic San Xil route through peaceful forests, charming stone villages, and rolling Galician hills. From there, we descend together into the historic heart of Santiago de Compostela, walking the final streets as pilgrims have for over a thousand years. We arrive in the Plaza del Obradoiro, where the Cathedral stands waiting.
