Day 1: Arrival to Porto, Portugal and Transfer to BaionaArrival at Porto, Portugal International Airport, followed by a private transfer to Baiona, Spain. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and settle in for the incredible journey ahead.

Day 2: Baiona to Vigo (26 km/16 miles)Today marks the beginning of your pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago. After a hearty breakfast, set out from the coastal town of Baiona, making your way along scenic seaside paths toward Nigrán and eventually the lively city of Vigo.
As you walk, soak in the fresh Atlantic breeze and panoramic views of the Bay of Vigo, with the stunning Illas Cíes visible in the distance. Take your time, enjoy the journey, and if the weather allows, pause for a refreshing dip at Praia América, one of Galicia’s most beautiful Blue Flag beaches. Day 3: Vigo to Portugalete (23km/14 miles)Today marks your final stretch along the coast, and with a shorter walking distance, you’ll have time to fully enjoy the seaside atmosphere. Day 4: Portugalete to Pontevedra (12 km/7 miles)Today, you’ll cross the historic Ponte Sampaio bridge over the Verdugo River—site of one of Napoleon’s most significant defeats in Galicia. From there, the Camino follows a scenic cobbled path leading to the 13th-century Church of Santa María. As you make your way toward Pontevedra, take in the sweeping views of the Bay of Vigo and enjoy the peaceful charm of the Galician countryside.

Day 5: Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis (22 km/13 miles)Today, you’ll depart from the city of Pontevedra and follow the Camino through peaceful chestnut groves and fragrant pine and eucalyptus forests. As you pass through the village of Ponte Cabras, take a moment to admire the charming rectory of Santa María de Alba. Further along, at Lombo da Maceira, you’ll spot a statue of Saint James, walking stick in hand, guiding pilgrims along the path. On your way to Caldas de Reis, stroll through the quaint hamlet of Tivo, known for its picturesque fountain and traditional public washing area. Tonight, you’ll rest in the serene spa town of Caldas de Reis, known for its thermal waters and relaxing atmosphere.

Day 6: Caldas de Reis to Padron (18 km/11 miles)Today’s journey begins in the charming city of Pontevedra, as the Camino leads you through serene chestnut groves and aromatic pine and eucalyptus forests. Along the way, pause in the quaint village of Ponte Cabras to admire the picturesque rectory of Santa María de Alba, a quiet gem tucked into the Galician countryside. As you reach Lombo da Maceira, look out for the statue of Saint James, arm outstretched with his walking stick, a symbolic guide for pilgrims on the path. A gentle descent leads you across the Fontenlo River, and soon you’ll find yourself surrounded by fragrant pine woods as you approach Padrón—a town steeped in legend. It is here, according to tradition, that the body of Saint James first arrived by ship on its final journey to Santiago de Compostela, making Padrón a place of deep spiritual significance and the perfect resting point on your pilgrimage.
