Day 1: WELCOME TO PRAGUE

Welcome to the fairy-tale capital of the Czech Republic - Prague!
Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel in Prague. The rest of the day is at your leisure. (Dinner provided) |

Day 2: KARLOVY VARY & CHRISTMAS MARKET EXPERIENCE
|
Today we journey about 2.5 hours west of Prague to Karlovy Vary, one of the Czech Republic’s most charming and iconic spa towns. With a local guide, we explore the town’s must see landmarks, including the elegant Park Colonnade, the historic Chateau Gate, and the world famous Grandhotel Pupp, known for its appearance in the James Bond film Casino Royale.
After discovering the highlights of this storybook town, we take time to soak in the festive atmosphere of the Karlovy Vary Christmas Market. Set between the Thermal Hotel and the Grandhotel Pupp, the market comes alive with twinkling lights, traditional Czech holiday treats, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal delights. It is the perfect way to experience Karlovy Vary’s timeless beauty while embracing the warmth and magic of the Christmas season together with Two Peacocks Travel. (Breakfast provided) |

Day 3: PRAGUE CHRISTMAS WALKING TOUR & TRAIN TO VIENNA
|
After breakfast, we check out, store our luggage at the hotel, and meet our guide in the lobby. We then enjoy a 4-hour guided walking tour through Prague’s Old Town, which feels especially magical during the Christmas season. Following the historic Royal Route, we see highlights such as the Municipal House, Týn Cathedral, the House at the Black Madonna, and the Astronomical Clock.
We spend time at Old Town Square, home to the city’s main Christmas Market, where we can browse festive stalls, sample traditional Czech treats, and soak in the holiday atmosphere. The tour continues through Pařížská Street, the former Jewish Quarter, the Rudolfinum, and across the iconic Charles Bridge, with exterior views of Prague Castle. Public transportation during the tour is included. After the tour, we return to the hotel to collect our luggage and transfer to the train station for our journey to Vienna. We arrive in Vienna, the European capital of music, where a private driver meets us at the train station and transfers us to our centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is yours to unwind or begin discovering Vienna’s rich history, elegant architecture, and vibrant culture at your own pace. (Breakfast provided) |

Day 4: VIENNA CHRISTMAS WALKING TOUR

After breakfast, we set out on a 4-hour guided walking tour through the historic center of Vienna, beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We begin at the State Opera House and stroll along Kärntnerstrasse, the city’s main pedestrian shopping street, arriving at the iconic St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Our walk continues along the elegant Graben and Kohlmarkt, leading us to the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the former winter residence of the Habsburgs and home to several of Vienna’s most important cultural institutions. We then follow the famous Ring Avenue, passing landmarks such as the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament, and the Burgtheater. Along the way, we also see Neuer Markt and the Capuchin Monastery. The tour concludes at Vienna’s Neo Gothic City Hall and its renowned Christmas Market. During the Christmas season, City Hall Square transforms into a festive wonderland filled with lights, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal treats. As a special highlight, we enjoy traditional Christmas favorites including classic mulled wine and ginger cake. After the tour, we return to the hotel with the rest of the day free to enjoy Vienna at our own pace. (Breakfast provided) |

Day 5: SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE & VIENNA WOODS

Today we explore some of Vienna’s most iconic sights, both within the city and just beyond it. We begin with a scenic drive through the Vienna Woods, the eastern foothills of the Alps, known for their rolling hills and picturesque landscapes.
We then visit the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg emperors. This grand palace offers a fascinating glimpse into Vienna’s imperial past and the opulent lifestyle of one of Europe’s most powerful royal families. (Breakfast provided) |

Day 6: TRAIN TO BUDAPEST & COOKING CLASS

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and are transferred to the train station for our journey to Budapest. Upon arrival, we are taken to our centrally located hotel for check-in.
Later in the day, we celebrate the flavors of Hungarian cuisine with a hands-on cooking class led by a local chef. Set in a modern, welcoming kitchen in the heart of Budapest’s culinary scene, we learn to prepare iconic dishes such as Goulash Soup, Chicken Paprikash, and Stuffed Cabbage. Together, we create a traditional three-course Hungarian meal, from start to finish. This interactive experience is perfect for all skill levels, offering a delicious and immersive introduction to Hungary’s rich culinary traditions. (Breakfast & dinner provided) |

Day 7: BUDAPEST WALKING TOUR, XMAS MARKETS & DANUBE CRUISE

Today we explore Budapest’s highlights on a guided walking tour, beginning in the historic Castle District. We visit the stunning Matthias Church and the iconic Fisherman’s Bastion, taking in panoramic views of the city along the way.
We also experience the festive spirit at Budapest’s Christmas Market, wandering through stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and warm beverages. As a special highlight, we enjoy a scenic Danube River cruise, taking in the city’s beautiful skyline from the water. After the tour, we return to our hotel, with the rest of the day free to explore Budapest at our own pace. (Breakfast provided) |
